Carbon Training for Teachers

We offer a day’s training package that enables teacher to include sustainablity issues into their leassons.

The training is based around the Cut Your Carbon board game and is very interactive, involving a high level of group work. By the end of the day participants understand the answers to the questions on the board, why particular carbon cards and lifestyle cards have been chosen and have the opportunity to make up their own. They will feel confident about playing the game with their pupils and will see how it links into the national curriculum and sustainable schools. They will also have the opportunity to collaborate with other teachers to prepare follow - on work for their specific subject or age group.

Cut Your Carbon trainers are experienced in running groups, have a relaxed style and can be hands - on or hand - off, whichever works best for any particular situation.
